The Xiaomi Black Shark has a general score of 80.4, which is a bit better than the Motorola Edge 40 Neo's 77 overall score. Both devices in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Black Shark has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Motorola Edge 40 Neo has Android 13 version, so it gives you lots of additional features and performance tweaks. Although Xiaomi Black Shark is a better device than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, we must highlight that it's also much older, heavier and somewhat thicker.
The Xiaomi Black Shark has a much powerful processor than Motorola Edge 40 Neo. Both have a Octa-Core processor and 8 GB of RAM. Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Black Shark, because it has a quite better 1080 x 2400px resolution, a just a bit greater pixels density, a little bit larger screen and much more display brightness.
Motorola Edge 40 Neo counts with as much storage capacity to store more apps and games as the Xiaomi Black Shark, they have the same 128 GB internal storage. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo counts with greater battery life than Xiaomi Black Shark, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo captures a lot better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video quality and a F1.8 aperture, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo also has a back-facing camera with a much better resolution and a lot larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
