Comparison review
The Xiaomi Black Shark is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy J8, getting an 80.4 score against 76.7. Both devices in our current comparison have Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Black Shark has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy J8 has Android 10 version. Although it's the best we are comparing, Xiaomi Black Shark is a just a bit heavier and somewhat thicker cellphone than Samsung Galaxy J8.
The Xiaomi Black Shark features a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy J8, and although they both have a same size screen, the Xiaomi Black Shark also has a way better resolution of 1080 x 2160 and a better quantity of pixels per screen inch. The Samsung Galaxy J8 counts with just a bit bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that supports up to 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Black Shark counts with a little bit better processing power than Galaxy J8, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Black Shark also has a larger amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Black Shark shoots slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for shooting images and video in poorly lited situations, a tinier sensor capturing worse quality videos and photographs and a back facing camera with way less mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a lot better (4K) video resolution.
Xiaomi Black Shark counts with a bit superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3500mAh.
