Comparison review
The Xiaomi Black Shark is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi MIX, getting an 80.4 score against 76.2. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but Xiaomi Black Shark has newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Mi MIX has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, counting with some additional features. The Xiaomi Black Shark construction is newer and just a bit lighter, but thicker than Xiaomi Mi MIX.
The Xiaomi Black Shark has a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because it has more processing cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Black Shark counts with a slightly better screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2160 resolution, a little brighter screen and a little bit higher count of pixels per screen inch.
Xiaomi Mi MIX has as much memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos as the Xiaomi Black Shark, both of them have the same 128 GB internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi MIX and Xiaomi Black Shark feature quite similar cameras, because although the Xiaomi Mi MIX has a tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing worse quality photos and a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, it also counts with a much more MP camera.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX features just a bit better battery duration than Xiaomi Black Shark, because it has a 4400mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
