Both phones in this review work with the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding OS features. The Xiaomi Mi 10T is a way newer cellphone than Samsung Galaxy J8, although it's heavier and thicker.
Xiaomi Mi 10T has a sharper screen than Galaxy J8, because it has more pixels per inch in the screen, a quite bigger display and a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Galaxy J8 has a little bit more storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 10T, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows up to 256 GB.
Xiaomi Mi 10T has a bit better CPU than Galaxy J8, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xiaomi Mi 10T also has a larger amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi 10T counts with a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity. The Xiaomi Mi 10T has a lot better camera than Galaxy J8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking images in low-light situations, it also counts with a much better video quality, a much larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
