Xiaomi Mi 11i has an overall score of 89.5, which is much better than the Xperia XZ2 Compact's 79 global score. The Xiaomi Mi 11i design is extremely newer and much thinner than the Xperia XZ2 Compact's, although it is heavier. Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a screen that is very similar to Xiaomi Mi 11i's screen, because although the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has way more opaque screen, a little bit worse 1080 x 2160 resolution and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a little more pixels per screen inch.
