Comparison review
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a global score of 78.7, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 4's 75.2 score. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has 8.0 Oreo version and Xiaomi Mi 4 has Android 4.4.3. Huawei Mate 9 Pro's construction is noticeably newer and somewhat thinner, but somewhat heavier than the Xiaomi Mi 4.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro's CPU is just as good as the Xiaomi Mi 4 one, because although the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with more cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi 4 has a slightly better screen than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, although it has a quite smaller screen, a lot worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little lower pixel density.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Mi 4 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor offering a worse image quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Mi 4 also counts with a back camera with a better resolution and a bigger camera aperture.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has a 30 percent bigger battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi 4. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi 4, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
