The Motorola Moto G8 Plus is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 4, with a 77.6 score against 75.2. Although the Motorola Moto G8 Plus is a lot newer than the Xiaomi Mi 4, it is a bit thicker and much heavier. The Xiaomi Mi 4 features a little bit better performance than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster) and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
Xiaomi Mi 4 counts with a much better looking display than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a much smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a bit better screen density. Moto G8 Plus has a superior camera than Xiaomi Mi 4, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Moto G8 Plus also has a way larger sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and pictures, a bigger aperture for better low-light images and videos and a back facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
The Moto G8 Plus has a much greater storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 4, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Moto G8 Plus also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Moto G8 Plus has greater battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has a 30 percent more battery size.
