Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A31 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 4, having a global score of 81.3 against 75.2. Both devices in this review have Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy A31 has 10 version and Xiaomi Mi 4 has Android 4.4.3. Samsung Galaxy A31 is a much newer and a little thinner phone than Xiaomi Mi 4, but it is also somewhat heavier.
The Xiaomi Mi 4 counts with a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has an inferior number of cores and lesser RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processor. The Xiaomi Mi 4 counts with a more vivid screen than Galaxy A31, because although it has a really smaller screen and a little worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the display.
The Galaxy A31 counts with a better camera than Xiaomi Mi 4, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for capturing photos and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a much bigger sensor shooting much higher quality videos and photographs and a back facing camera with a lot higher 48 MP resolution.
Samsung Galaxy A31 has a lot bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 4, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also has an external memory slot that supports up to 512 GB. Galaxy A31 features a very superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
