Comparison review
Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 4, with an 80.4 score against 75.2. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition body is noticeably newer and somewhat thinner than Xiaomi Mi 4's, but it's also somewhat heavier. Xiaomi Mi 4 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, although it has a bit smaller display, a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little inferior quantity of pixels per inch of display.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 4, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 4 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster) and lesser RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processor.
The Xiaomi Mi 4 shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a smaller sensor taking lower quality photographs and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for taking images or videos in low light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi 4 also counts with a higher resolution camera in the back.
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a little longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has a 4 percent larger battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi 4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Mi 4. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Mi 4, resigning some features and specs.
