Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note8 is much better than Xiaomi Mi 4, with a general score of 83 against 75.2. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 body is incredibly newer and just a little bit thinner than Xiaomi Mi 4's, but it is also noticeably heavier. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Mi 4 has Android 4.4.3 version, so it offers a couple nice extra features and performance improvements.

The Galaxy Note8 and Xiaomi Mi 4 count with very similar processors, because although the Galaxy Note8 has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a higher number of cores (although they are slower) and a higher amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi 4 counts with a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Note8, although it has a bit worse number of pixels per inch of display, a way smaller screen and a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 4, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. The Galaxy Note8 has a little longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 3080mAh.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a camera that's just as good as the camera in Xiaomi Mi 4, because although the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a back camera with a lower resolution and a worse 3840x2160 video definition, it also counts with a larger sensor and a bigger diafragm aperture.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 costs more than Xiaomi Mi 4, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
