The Galaxy XCover 5 has an overall score of 78.1, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 4's overall score of 75.2. The Galaxy XCover 5 construction is a lot newer, but heavier and a little thicker than the Xiaomi Mi 4. Both devices we are comparing have Android OS, but Galaxy XCover 5 has the older 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 4 has Android 4.4.3 version.
Xiaomi Mi 4 features an incredibly better screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch and a better 1920 x 1080 resolution. Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a very superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 4, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB.
The Xiaomi Mi 4 has a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory and an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. Xiaomi Mi 4 counts with a little bit better camera than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a back camera with a lower resolution, and they both have a same size camera aperture, the Xiaomi Mi 4 also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 video quality.
The Xiaomi Mi 4 features just a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 3 percent more battery capacity.
