The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a score of 79.8, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 4's 75.2 score. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is a way newer and somewhat thinner phone than the Xiaomi Mi 4, but it's also incredibly heavier. The Xperia XZ Premium's processing unit is just as good as the processing unit in Xiaomi Mi 4, because although the Xperia XZ Premium has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with 4 more cores (although slower) and more RAM.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has a way higher 2160 x 3840 resolution, a little larger display and a lot better display pixels density. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has much more storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 4, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium also has an external SD slot that supports up to 256 GB.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 4, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light captures and video, and they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a lot more mega-pixels back camera and a way larger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot better quality photographs and videos.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a bit better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has 3230mAh of battery capacity.
