Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 4, with a global score of 79 against 75.2. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact construction is noticeably newer, but extremely thicker and somewhat heavier than the Xiaomi Mi 4. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Mi 4 has Android 4.4.3.
Xperia XZ2 Compact and Xiaomi Mi 4 have very similar screens, and although the Xperia XZ2 Compact has a little bit higher 1080 x 2160 resolution and a bit higher quantity of pixels in each inch of screen, they both have a same size screen. Xperia XZ2 Compact has just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 4, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a higher amount of RAM.
Xperia XZ2 Compact takes slightly better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 4, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low light captures and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor shooting much higher quality videos and photos, a way higher 19 MP resolution back camera and faster 60 fps video frame rate.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 4, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also has a SD card slot that holds up to 400 GB. Xiaomi Mi 4 counts with a bit better battery performance than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 3080mAh battery size instead of 2870mAh.
