Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 4, with a general score of 82.2 against 75.2. The Xperia XZ2 Premium design is incredibly newer than the Xiaomi Mi 4's, but it's much thicker and much heavier. The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with just a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi 4, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with more processing cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has a much greater screen pixel density, a bigger display and a much higher 2160 x 3840 resolution. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 4, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same (4K) video resolution and the same aperture, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a much larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a much better 19 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much better storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 4, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB. The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has a 15% more battery size.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi 4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi 4. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Xperia XZ2 Premium, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi 4, giving up a couple features and specifications.
