Comparison review
Xperia Z5 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 4, having a 77.6 score against 75.2. Both of these devices include Android OS, but Xperia Z5 has a more recent 5.1 version and Xiaomi Mi 4 has Android 4.4.3, so it gives you a couple nice extra features and a performance increase. Xperia Z5's body is newer and thinner than Xiaomi Mi 4's, although it's also a little heavier.
Xperia Z5 and Xiaomi Mi 4 have really similar displays, because although the Xperia Z5 has a bit worse number of pixels per inch of screen, and they both have the same 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little bit bigger screen. The Xperia Z5's CPU is very similar to the Xiaomi Mi 4 one, and although the Xperia Z5 has 4 more CPU cores , they both have a 450 MHz GPU and 3 GB of RAM memory.
Xperia Z5 counts with just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 4, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the same aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xperia Z5 also has a way larger sensor providing a lot better image quality and a camera with a much better resolution.
The Sony Xperia Z5 features a quite bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 4, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits up to 200 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 4 has a bit longer battery performance than Xperia Z5, because it has 3080mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia Z5 is a better device, it is more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi 4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi 4. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi 4, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
