Comparison review
The iPhone 12 has an overall score of 88.7, which is a lot better than the Xiaomi Mi 5c's 72.4 global score. Even though the iPhone 12 is much newer than the Xiaomi Mi 5c, it is heavier and just a bit thicker. The iPhone 12 comes with iOS 15.x OS, while Xiaomi Mi 5c comes with Android 7.1 Nougat OS.
The iPhone 12 features a faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi 5c, because although it has lesser processing cores (but faster), it also counts with a 64-bits CPU and more RAM. IPhone 12 counts with a much better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 5c, because it has a just a little greater display pixels density, a better resolution of 1170 x 2532px and a larger screen.
The iPhone 12 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 5c, and although they both have a 12 mega-pixels camera in the back and the same video definition, the iPhone 12 also has better 60 fps video frame rates and a way larger aperture. The Apple iPhone 12 and Xiaomi Mi 5c feature really similar storage for games and applications, both of them have exactly the same internal memory.
The Xiaomi Mi 5c features just a little better battery lifetime than iPhone 12, because it has a 2% greater battery capacity.
Although iPhone 12 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi 5c, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi 5c. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Mi 5c, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
