Comparison review
OnePlus 9 has an overall score of 76, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5c's score of 72.4. The OnePlus 9 construction is noticeably newer, but noticeably heavier and thicker than the Xiaomi Mi 5c. Both phones in this review use Android OS, but the OnePlus 9 has 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 5c has Android 7.1 Nougat version.
OnePlus 9 features a display that's just as good as Xiaomi Mi 5c's screen, because although the OnePlus 9 has a quite worse screen pixels density, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a larger screen. OnePlus 9 features just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 5c, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 9 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
OnePlus 9 counts with a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5c, because it has more internal memory. The OnePlus 9 counts with a much better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 5c, because it has a 57 percent more battery capacity. The OnePlus 9 captures much better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5c, because it has a camera in the back with a way higher resolution, a larger camera aperture to capture better images and videos in low-light situations and a lot higher video quality.
Although OnePlus 9 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi 5c, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi 5c. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the OnePlus 9, else you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi 5c, giving up some features and specs.
