Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha has an overall score of 76.3, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5c's overall score of 72.4. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Alpha has the older 4.4.4 version while Xiaomi Mi 5c has Android 7.1 Nougat. Samsung Galaxy Alpha's body is just a bit thinner and somewhat lighter than Xiaomi Mi 5c.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with a slightly better screen than Xiaomi Mi 5c, although it has a quite smaller screen, a lot lower pixel density and a lot worse resolution of 1280 x 720. Galaxy Alpha has a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Mi 5c, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and 4 less CPU cores (but faster), it also counts with a graphics processor.
The Xiaomi Mi 5c counts with a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Alpha, because it has more internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha takes just a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 5c. Both have the same video resolution, a same resolution back-facing camera, the same 30 fps video frame rates and a same size aperture.
Xiaomi Mi 5c counts with a really longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 54% bigger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi 5c, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi 5c. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Mi 5c, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
