The Galaxy Note Fan Edition is better than the Xiaomi Mi 5c, getting a global score of 80.4 against 72.4. Even though the Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device than Xiaomi Mi 5c, we must note that it is also somewhat heavier and a little thicker. Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a bit better processor than Xiaomi Mi 5c, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi 5c, because it has a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, a just a little higher screen pixels density and a bit larger display. Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5c, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 256 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5c, and although they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has a way bigger aperture to take better low-light photography and videos.
Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a bit better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5c, because it has a 12 percent greater battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi 5c, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi 5c. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Note Fan Edition, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi 5c, giving up some specifications.
