Galaxy Note8 is much better than the Xiaomi Mi 5c, having a score of 83 against 72.4. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Mi 5c has Android 7.1 Nougat version. Despite being the best cellphone we compare here, the Galaxy Note8 is a somewhat thicker and noticeably heavier cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi 5c.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi 5c, because it has a larger screen, a little bit higher pixel quantity in each display inch and a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2960. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a little faster processor than Xiaomi Mi 5c, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a larger amount of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 captures slightly better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 5c, and although they both have a 12 mega pixels back-facing camera, the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a way larger camera aperture for better low light captures and video.

The Galaxy Note8 is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Mi 5c, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
