Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has an overall score of 85.7, which is better than Xiaomi Mi 5c's general score of 72.4. Both phones in this review have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has 5.0 version and Xiaomi Mi 5c has Android 7.1 Nougat. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge body has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Mi 5c, but it's just a little lighter.
The Galaxy S6 Edge has a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 5c, and although they both have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a 64 bits processing unit and an extra GPU. Galaxy S6 Edge features a lot better screen than Xiaomi Mi 5c, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a greater amount of pixels per screen inch and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a much better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5c, because it has more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi 5c has a slightly better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, a lower (4K) video definition and a way lower 12 MP resolution camera.
The Xiaomi Mi 5c features a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 10% more battery size.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi 5c, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi 5c. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy S6 Edge, else you can save some money and get the Xiaomi Mi 5c, giving up some specs and features.
