Galaxy S7 edge is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5c, getting a 78.1 score against 72.4. These devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S7 edge has 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Mi 5c has Android 7.1 Nougat, providing a couple additional features and some performance improvements. Despite being the best device in this comparison review, Galaxy S7 edge is an older, somewhat heavier and just a little thicker device than Xiaomi Mi 5c.
The Xiaomi Mi 5c counts with a little faster processing unit than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi 5c, because it has a bit bigger screen, a higher pixel density and a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution.
The Galaxy S7 edge features a greater storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 5c, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 200 GB. The Galaxy S7 edge has a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5c, and although they both have a 12 megapixels resolution camera in the back, the same video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy S7 edge also has a lot bigger camera aperture.
Galaxy S7 edge counts with superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 5c, because it has 3600mAh of battery capacity against 2860mAh.
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Mi 5c, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
