Samsung Galaxy S9 has an overall score of 83.3, which is better than the Xiaomi Mi 5c's 72.4 overall score. Even though Samsung Galaxy S9 is newer than the Xiaomi Mi 5c, it's heavier and somewhat thicker. The Galaxy S9 counts with just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi 5c, because it has a higher screen pixel density, a bit bigger display and a much better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.
Galaxy S9 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 5c, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy S9 also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. The Galaxy S9 counts with a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi 5c, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy S9 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy S9 takes better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5c, and although they both have a camera in the back with a 12 mega pixels resolution and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy S9 also has a much bigger camera aperture to take better captures and video in poorly lited situations and better video frame rate.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 has just a little bit longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5c, because it has a 5 percent bigger battery capacity.
