Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5c, having a 75.8 score against 72.4. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro design is newer, but noticeably heavier and somewhat thicker than Xiaomi Mi 5c. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Mi 5c has Android 7.1 Nougat, offering a lot of extra features and increased performance.
The Xiaomi Mi 5c has a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px, it also counts with a just a little better pixel density. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a superior storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 5c, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi 5c counts with a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Xiaomi Mi 5c takes a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have a F2.2 aperture and a same resolution back-facing camera, the Xiaomi Mi 5c also has a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a much better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5c, because it has a 40 percent bigger battery capacity.
