Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is slightly better than the HTC One M9, getting a global score of 78.1 against 77.7. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus's body is newer and somewhat thinner, but also just a bit heavier than the HTC One M9. Both of these devices include Android OS, but Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a more recent 6.0 Marshmallow version and HTC One M9 has Android 5.0.
The HTC One M9 features a brighter display than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080 resolution, the HTC One M9 also counts with a bit greater count of pixels in each display inch. HTC One M9 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit, 4 more CPU cores (although they are slower) and a 64 bits processor.
The HTC One M9 features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for capturing photos or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the HTC One M9 also counts with a much larger back camera sensor which provides a way better photo and video quality and a camera in the back with a lot higher 20 MP resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a much better storage to install applications and games than HTC One M9, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus features a way better battery performance than HTC One M9, because it has a 34% greater battery size.
