Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is a bit better than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), with a score of 78.1 against 76.5. These devices work with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has the previous 6.0 Marshmallow version and Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has Android 9.0 Pie. Even though Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is way older than the Huawei P20 Lite (2019), it's design is just a little thinner and a bit lighter.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus counts with a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), although it has a quite smaller display, a quite worse screen pixel density and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px. Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores (although slower).
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus features a slightly better camera than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures and/or video in low light environments and a lower 13 megapixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
Huawei P20 Lite (2019) counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 256 GB. Huawei P20 Lite (2019) features just a little bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a 5% bigger battery size.
