Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is slightly better than the Huawei P30 Lite, getting a 78.1 score against 77. Although it's the best device in our current comparison, Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus's construction is older, a little heavier and just a little thicker than the Huawei P30 Lite. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has an older 6.0 Marshmallow version while Huawei P30 Lite has Android 9.0 Pie.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a little sharper display than Huawei P30 Lite, although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px, a bit lower pixels quantity per display inch and a little smaller display. Huawei P30 Lite features a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores.
The Huawei P30 Lite has a much greater memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Huawei P30 Lite also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus features a bit better battery duration than Huawei P30 Lite, because it has a 3800mAh battery capacity.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus captures a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a way tinier back-facing camera sensor providing a lot lower image quality, a smaller aperture and a back-facing camera with a much lower 13 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
