Comparison review
Huawei P40 is better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, getting a overall score of 86.4 against 78.1. Even though Huawei P40 is incredibly newer than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, it's a little thicker and a little heavier. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 has 10 version while Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a bit better looking display than Huawei P40, although it has a little bit lower display pixel density, a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a little smaller screen. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus and the Huawei P40 count with similar storage for games and applications, both have equal internal storage.
Huawei P40 has a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have 6 GB of RAM memory, the Huawei P40 also has a greater number of cores. Huawei P40 takes much better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 also has a lot larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a way better resolution back facing camera, a larger aperture and better video frame rate.
Huawei P40 has a battery performance that's just as good as the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus one.
