Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has an overall score of 78.1, which is slightly better than the LG G5's 76.1 general score. Despite being the best in this comparison review, we must highlight that it is also a a bit heavier and just a little thicker phone. Both phones we are comparing work with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has the older 6.0 Marshmallow version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a bit more powerful processing unit than LG G5, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus also has more RAM memory. LG G5 features a little bit better display than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixel count in each screen inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The LG G5 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the LG G5 also has a back facing camera with more megapixels, a larger camera aperture to take better images in poorly lited situations and a bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The LG G5 has a superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus features a much longer battery duration than LG G5, because it has a 36 percent greater battery capacity.
