The LG V30S ThinQ has a general score of 82.5, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus's global score of 78.1. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but LG V30S ThinQ has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, giving some additional features. The LG V30S ThinQ is a newer phone, and it's also just a little bit lighter and just a little thinner than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus.
LG V30S ThinQ counts with a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have 6 GB of RAM, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a larger number of cores (and they are faster). LG V30S ThinQ counts with just a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a little larger screen, a higher pixel amount per screen inch and a much better 1440 x 2880 resolution.
LG V30S ThinQ has a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity, the LG V30S ThinQ also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG V30S ThinQ counts with just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor shooting lower quality videos and images, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a back facing camera with a better 16 MP resolution and a larger diafragm aperture for better low light images.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus features just a bit better battery lifetime than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 15 percent greater battery capacity.
