Comparison review
LG Velvet has an overall score of 87.1, which is better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus's 78.1 global score. LG Velvet's body has the same thickness than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, but it is a bit heavier. The LG Velvet has a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the LG Velvet also has a greater number of cores.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a bit better looking screen than LG Velvet, although it has a bit smaller screen, a bit lower 1080 x 1920px resolution and a just a bit worse pixel density. The LG Velvet counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG Velvet also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1,95 TB.
LG Velvet counts with a bit superior battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a 13 percent bigger battery capacity. The LG Velvet takes better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates, the LG Velvet also has a much more megapixels camera in the back, a bigger aperture and a lot larger back camera sensor providing a way higher image quality.
