The Galaxy A30s has a global score of 79.8, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus's 78.1 score. The Galaxy A30s construction is much newer, just a little bit lighter and just a little bit thinner than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus. Both devices we are comparing use Android operating system, but Galaxy A30s has 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a much better looking screen than Galaxy A30s, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution and a better display density. The Samsung Galaxy A30s has much more memory for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A30s also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A30s, because although it has a lower number of cores (although faster), it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory.
