Comparison review
The Galaxy Note8 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, having a score of 83 against 78.1. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, so it gives you a couple nice extra features. Although Galaxy Note8 is newer than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, it's just a little bit thicker and heavier.
The Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have a 6 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy Note8 also has a larger number of faster cores. Galaxy Note8 features a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2960, a better count of pixels per screen inch and a quite larger screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has a worse 12 mega-pixels resolution back camera and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a larger aperture to capture better images and videos in low-light situations.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a little bit more storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus features just a little bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity.
