Galaxy S9 has a global score of 83.3, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus's 78.1 overall score. The Galaxy S9 is a newer and a bit lighter cellphone than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, but it is just a little thicker. Galaxy S9 has a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 has just a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a way better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels, a greater amount of pixels per inch of display and a quite larger display. Galaxy S9 has a better memory for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 400 GB.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus features improved battery lifetime than Galaxy S9, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S9 has a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has a back camera with a worse 12 megapixels resolution and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a larger camera sensor which provides a better photo and video quality and a lot bigger aperture to capture better photos in low-light situations.
