Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, getting a overall score of 82.6 against 78.1. Although Sony Xperia 1 is incredibly newer than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, it's just a bit thicker and a little heavier. The Xperia 1 counts with a much better display than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has much more opaque screen, it also counts with a quite bigger screen, a lot higher display pixels density and a way better 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution.
Xperia 1 features a superior storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Xperia 1 also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Xperia 1 features a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xperia 1 also has a larger number of cores (and also faster).
Sony Xperia 1 features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has a lower 12 MP resolution camera and a worse video quality, it also counts with a larger camera sensor capturing better quality photos and videos and a bigger aperture. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus features just a bit better battery life than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 3800mAh battery size.
