Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, getting a general score of 81.4 against 78.1. Both devices in this comparison work with Android OS, but Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, giving you a couple additional features and optimized performance. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE construction is much newer, a bit lighter and just a little bit thinner than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus.
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE features a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have 6 GB of RAM memory, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also has 4 more cpu cores (but slower). The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE features a lot better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also has a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back, a larger camera aperture and a lot larger camera sensor taking lot higher quality videos and photos.
