Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, having a overall score of 78.1 against 77.5. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus construction is notably lighter but a little bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and both of them were released only a couple months apart. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2's processing unit is just as good as the CPU in Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus also counts with a little better quantity of pixels per screen inch. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus both count with very similar cameras, because although the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a worse 12 mega pixels resolution camera in the back, a lower video definition and a smaller aperture which is not favorable for capturing pictures and videos in low-light situations, it also counts with a bigger camera sensor shooting higher quality photographs and videos.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a way better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a 5300mAh battery capacity against 3800mAh.
