Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a general score of 78.1, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro's general score of 77.2. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has older 6.0 Marshmallow version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has Android 8.1 Oreo. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is an noticeably older device than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, but Xiaomi managed to make it just a bit thinner and a little lighter.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has a slightly better display than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has a quite darker screen, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2280 resolution, a little bit bigger display and a just a little more pixels per display inch. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has just a bit more memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds up to 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus counts with a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, although it has 4 lesser CPU cores (although faster), they both have 6 GB of RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus captures clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a tinier sensor and a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography, it also counts with a much higher (4K) video definition and a higher resolution back-facing camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features just a little better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
