The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a score of 81.1, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus's general score of 78.1. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has an older 10 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's design is notably newer, but heavier and thicker than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus.
