Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, getting a 79 score against 78.1. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has older 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S construction is incredibly newer, but somewhat thicker and heavier than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a very superior camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a much bigger sensor providing a way higher image quality, a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better captures and videos in poorly lited situations.
