Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 8 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 6, getting a 77.4 score against 76.5. Although it's the best we compare here, the Huawei Mate 8 design is older, a little heavier and just a little bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi 6. Xiaomi Mi 6 counts with a better looking screen than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 6 also counts with a little higher screen pixels density.
Xiaomi Mi 6 has just a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xiaomi Mi 6 also has more RAM. Huawei Mate 8 counts with a very superior storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Huawei Mate 8 also has an external SD slot that holds up to 128 GB.
Xiaomi Mi 6 counts with a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a way worse 12 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a larger aperture to take better captures in poorly lited environments. Huawei Mate 8 counts with superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 6, because it has a 19 percent greater battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Mi 6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi 6. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 8, otherwise you can save some money and get the Xiaomi Mi 6, resigning a couple features and specifications.
