Huawei P30 Lite is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 6, getting a 77 score against 76.5. The Huawei P30 Lite construction has the same thickness than Xiaomi Mi 6, but it is a little bit lighter. The Xiaomi Mi 6 features a bit better looking display than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit better pixel density.
Huawei P30 Lite counts with much more storage to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Huawei P30 Lite also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 6 counts with just a little better processing power than Huawei P30 Lite, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Mi 6 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi 6 has a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei P30 Lite, because it has a 3350mAh battery size. The Xiaomi Mi 6 takes a bit better videos and photos than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a lot tinier sensor shooting much lower quality photographs and a way worse 12 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Xiaomi Mi 6 also counts with a way better video quality.
Although Huawei P30 Lite is a better device, it costs more than Xiaomi Mi 6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Mi 6. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Mi 6, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
