Comparison review
Galaxy A8 (2018) has a global score of 79.2, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 6's overall score of 76.5. Even being the best phone in this comparison review, we must tell that it's also thicker and a little heavier. Xiaomi Mi 6 counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy A8 (2018), although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920, a quite smaller screen and a just a bit lower display density.
Galaxy A8 (2018) features just a bit more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 6, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. Xiaomi Mi 6 features a little better processing power than Galaxy A8 (2018), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 6 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light captures and video and a back-facing camera with much less MP resolution, it also counts with a lot better (4K) video resolution. Xiaomi Mi 6 has a little longer battery life than Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has a 12% larger battery size.
