Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a global score of 80.4, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 6's 76.5 overall score. Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition's construction is a little lighter but a bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi 6, and they were only released 2 months apart. The Xiaomi Mi 6 features a little better processing power than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Mi 6 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi 6 has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, although it has a lot worse resolution of 1080 x 1920, a quite worse pixels count in each inch of screen and a bit smaller screen. The Xiaomi Mi 6 takes clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture and a tinier sensor, they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, a back-facing camera with a 12 megapixels resolution and the same (4K) video resolution.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a bit more memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 6, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 6 has just a little better battery duration than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has 3350mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Mi 6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi 6. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note Fan Edition, else you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi 6, giving up some specifications.
