Comparison review
The Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 6, having an 83 score against 76.5. The Galaxy Note8 is a somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker phone than the Xiaomi Mi 6. Xiaomi Mi 6 has a little better performance than Galaxy Note8. Both of them have a Octa-Core processor and 6 GB of RAM memory.
The Galaxy Note8 and Xiaomi Mi 6 have similar screens, although the Galaxy Note8 also has a just a bit greater number of pixels in each inch in the screen, a much better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and a bigger screen. The Galaxy Note8 takes clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have the same video resolution, the same resolution camera and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy Note8 also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photos and videos and a bigger sensor taking better quality pictures.
Galaxy Note8 features a slightly bigger storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 6, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 6 features a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note8, because it has 3350mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
The Galaxy Note8 is a little more expensive than Xiaomi Mi 6, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
