Comparison review
Xperia 1 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 6, having an 82.6 score against 76.5. Even though the Xperia 1 is newer than the Xiaomi Mi 6, it's a little thicker and a little heavier. The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 6. Both have a Octa-Core CPU and a 6 GB RAM.
The Xperia 1 has a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi 6, because although it has way less brightness, it also counts with a much greater screen pixel density, a lot better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels and a larger display. The Xperia 1 takes a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 6, because although it has lower 24 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same resolution camera and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia 1 also counts with a bigger camera aperture for better low-light photos and a bigger sensor shooting better quality pictures.
Xperia 1 has a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia 1 also has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Mi 6 has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Xperia 1, because it has 3350mAh of battery capacity instead of 3330mAh.
Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Mi 6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Mi 6. If you want to save some money, you can get Xiaomi Mi 6, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
