Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a general score of 82.2, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 6's score of 76.5. Even though Xperia XZ2 Premium is newer than the Xiaomi Mi 6, it's noticeably thicker and extremely heavier. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much better looking display than Xiaomi Mi 6, because it has a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels, a little bit bigger screen, way more pixels per inch of screen and more brightness.
Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with more memory capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 6, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 6. They have a Octa-Core CPU and the same RAM memory amount.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, a F1.8 camera aperture and the same (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a much more megapixels camera and a much larger camera sensor which provides a lot higher image and video quality.
Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 6, because it has a 6% bigger battery size.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi 6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi 6. If you want to save some money, you can get Xiaomi Mi 6, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
