Comparison review
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a score of 79.8, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 6's general score of 76.5. Even though the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is better than Xiaomi Mi 6, it must be told that it is also an older, just a bit heavier and a little bit thicker phone. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a lot better screen than Xiaomi Mi 6, because it has a way higher screen pixel density, a bit bigger screen and a much higher resolution of 3840 x 2160px.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 counts with a little better hardware performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xiaomi Mi 6 also counts with a greater amount of RAM. Xperia Z5 Premium has a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same diafragm aperture and the same video quality, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a lot larger sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a much better 23 MP resolution back camera.
Xiaomi Mi 6 has more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The Xperia Z5 Premium features a little longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 6, because it has a 3430mAh battery size.
Although Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs more than Xiaomi Mi 6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi 6. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, else you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi 6, giving up some features and specifications.
