Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 10 has a score of 78.9, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's score of 77.7. The Huawei Mate 10 design is a bit heavier and a little bit thicker than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate 10 has an older 10 version while Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
Huawei Mate 10 counts with a better screen than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher display density and a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution. Huawei Mate 10's processing unit is very similar to Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's processing unit, and although the Huawei Mate 10 has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite captures a bit better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking photos and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have a 12 MP camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also counts with a larger back camera sensor which offers a better image and video quality.
The Huawei Mate 10 counts with a little bit more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. Huawei Mate 10 features superior battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a 19% more battery capacity.
