Huawei Mate 20 has an overall score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's 77.7 global score. Both phones in this comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 20 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo version, so it gives you a lot of extra features. The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2244 pixels resolution and a just a bit lower display pixels density, it also counts with a little bit bigger screen. The Huawei Mate 20's storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is very similar to Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's one, they have exactly the same internal memory.
Huawei Mate 20 has just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, although it has less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Huawei Mate 20 features longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3350mAh. The Huawei Mate 20 shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei Mate 20 also has a bigger diafragm aperture and a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
